Review by hotel critic
Nestled in Uçhisar, La Casa Cave Hotel offers not just splendid views of the Red Valley but a culinary experience that lingers long after you leave. Having come from Beijing, where food is paramount, I found the hotel's panoramic restaurant, Padishah, to be quite impressive. Each morning began with a complimentary breakfast that beautifully showcased Turkish specialties, offering everything from traditional gözleme to fresh fruits-each bite an ode to local flavors. One morning, I leisurely savored my meal on the terrace, watching the hot air balloons rise over the valley. The ambiance was relaxed yet vibrant, a perfect backdrop for conversation. The attentive staff effortlessly handled my requests, ensuring that my experience was comfortable. The hotel's approach to hospitality reminded me of the essence I cherish in Japanese ryokans: welcoming, genuine, and focused on the dining experience. I recommend La Casa Cave Hotel for those who appreciate culinary nuances in their travels.
